Bird of Prey

You’ll probably see a lot of this bird in blogs of newbie photographers (a.k.a. me) from Davao. This is one of the birds in Paradise Island Beach Resort. I like this particular bird because of its yellow “mask”. This shot was not hard to take since the bird was far from the screen cage so focusing on its face and making the screen disappear is easier since the lens and aperture chosen was conducive for a relative shallow depth of field. The shot took a while to take since the bird kept on following me with its gaze but as nice as his yellow masks is I wanted something different. It’s a good thing it got bored of me before I did it.
